The PHCC Medical Insurance Trust offers 4 different Delta Dental plans.

Delta Dental Premier provides access to the nation’s largest dentist network. When you visit a Delta Dental Premier dentist, you will usually save money compared to visiting a non-Delta Dental dentist. That’s because Delta Dental Premier dentists agree in their contracts that they will not bill you above Delta Dental’s approved amount; non-Delta Dental dentists may bill you up to their full fees.

Delta Dental PPO, a preferred provider organization plan, provides access to the largest network of its kind nationwide. Delta Dental PPO dentists agree to accept reduced fees for covered procedures when treating PPO patients. This means your out-of-pocket costs are usually lower when you visit a PPO dentist than when you visit a non-Delta Dental dentist.

DeltaCare HMO provides quality dental benefits at an affordable cost. The DeltaCare program is designed to encourage you to visit the dentist regularly to maintain your dental health. Upon enrollment, you select a contract dentist to provide services. The DeltaCare network consists of private practice dental facilities that have been carefully screened for quality.

Delta Dental Premier Table Plan (a voluntary plan), provides great dental benefits at a reasonable cost. With a table of allowance plan, you know in advance exactly how much the plan covers for each dental service by referring to the table of allowances. The enrollee is responsible for the share of the dentist’s fee not covered by the allowance.
